  • Senegalese Twists

I've been wearing my natural hair all summer so far, but i'm getting tired of having to deal with it. During the school year I usually wash and straighten my hair every two weeks or so, but I decided my hair needed a break. The thing is I get tired of having to redo my hair every other day so I want to get my hair braided. I have tried getting my hair braided before and after a day or so the hair would start itching and then i'd take it out.

Please tell me how I get the hair to stop itching??? I really want braids but I don't know what to do

You can try a braid spray. That is what I usually use. I like the Parnevu brand which can be found at beauty supply stores. As well, you can use tea tree oil on your scalp to alleviate the itching. This is what I plan to do when I get my Senegalese twists in. Hope this helps.
