Hello CurlFriends,
I had a page on CN but deleted it and decided to come back. When I had my previous page I was still rocking sew ins heavily and not really getting the real experience with my natural hair. Since then I've decided to ditch the weave with the exception of box braids and twists and embrace my natural. I wanted to make a blog to track my hair journey. My goal is to make it to waist length stretched which is approximately 22 inches of hair for me since I'm 5"6. My hair is currently a little past bra stap at 13-14 inches. Attachment
So here's a little history about my hair. I've been natural 2 1/2 years after being relaxed since the age of 6. For the first two years I wore weave 98.9% of the time lol. My hair is 4a, medium density, and low porosity (talk about a combination). My hair is also protein sensitive. YIKES! I am pro natural so I only use natural hair and skin products because I've found that they work best for my hair and hair type.
Throughout this blog I will be providing you with product reviews, style tutorials, and insight. Whoever wants to grow their hair out should tag along.
Oh and I titled this blog iTwist because I always run to twist outs and I want to try and venture out doing different styles.
