i'm happy to know that what was shared helped to encourage you as well as the other ladies God is good y'all. based on your response it looks as if you are growing and headed in the right direction chica. it's great that you have a man of God/good man and you guys are working on things together. yes, marriage is hard work, but what ministry isn't .... u know. marriage is a one of thee most intimate ministries there is. there is something in your husband for you and something in you for him. and once we learn how to maneuver within our marriages to separate fleshly desires/feelings/emotions from our spiritual responsibilities toward our mate, then our trials 'n tribs becomes a bit easier to overcome; which will come in time. first comes the test, then a blessing. but as long as you continue to pray and keep God first, He will show you how to be the helpmate that your hubs needs on all levels. in turn He will condition your husband to be the man that you need as well. hang in there doll and i wish you all the best
Your playing small does not serve the world. There's nothing enlightening about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. As we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give others permission to do the same. ~ Marianne Williamson

Wow you are so on the money. I am learning some of those things the hard way. But God is good and marriage is soooo much bigger than you or me, and it's a testimony for sure. My parents have been married for 43 years, and they aren't always happy, but they have shown me that you can get through anything if you stick together.

Thanks for this wonderful advice (and right on time too)!

And your signature is right on time too LOL!
