  • Monocular Repair

Do you have experience repairing monoculars?
I have a monocular and overall it is in great shape, however I can't focus with the rangefinder. My guess is that either the reflective coating was damaged(possibly due to improper cleaning by the previous owner)or the mirror inside the monocular doesn't move as it should
I'm just curious if anyone has a history with similar repairs
I found the camera repair and I'm ready to take it apart.but I decided to see if any of the nerds here had any other ideas

Camera place could be a good shout. They should know how to repair it, if not just get a new one.

We really get attached to certain things and it is hard to let go of them. I got attached to many things, but my husband is worse than me. He loves hunting and he still keeps a lot of items that he does not use. I got mad at him one day and I sold all of that stuff that he had. He was really sad about them and it was not nice to see this so I decided to get him a new thermal monocular on ATN website. He loves, it is the best one he has had.
