Black, white, Asian.. as long as he cares about you as a person and not some weird superficial thingy to play with.
My boyfriend isn't worried that I look less than sexy with it on, in actual fact he thinks its cute. I've even got a bonnet and satin pillowcase at his house that he bought. He loves the whole of me and that's what truly matters. X

Why is he a loser?

I don't cover my hair at night because my hubby plays in my hair when he thinks I'm asleep. On the few occasions that I do sleep with a scarf, he removes it slowly and then plays in my hair. I make sure I turn over so he can get to all of my scalp.

I def do wear my bonnet! He makes his lil comments as a joke sometimes but will be the first one to say "babe don't forget to tie your hair up". He knows it keeps it looking right for the next day.

I'm thinking if you coordinate your headscarf or bonnet with a cute night gown... Well, SOMEBODY is gonna get a happy ending.

Y'all are funny. This thread has made me laugh a couple times. Lol

+1 he has made his little granny jokes in the past, but if I forget he wakes me up and tells me to put it on, take out my contacts...etc lol. He would much rather me wear it then hear me complain that I don't like my hair or go through extra stress the next day lol.

I vote sleep on a satin pillowcase and tie the scarf stylishly and make it match or at least not clash with your nightie...I think it would be cute and different! And Id wear it sometimes like that as my signature style on the regular too, so it wouldnt be a surprise to see it at night. The headband styles would be good to tame edges while pineappling!

naptural85 style!

Just wear the bonnet. He's not going to dump you. Lol.

I admit I had this concern at first, mostly as we were long distance. I was still relaxing at the time and so embarrassed of my hairnet. It doesn't help that he's white and associated hairnets with the people that served him his sandwich at Subway....but yeah, he's used to it now. I did explain to him why though, because he simply did not know the purpose.

I loved it when he came back home with me (to the Dominican Rep.) and saw women everywhere with hairnets, bonnets and wraps. He was like "Oh so it's common?" Common is quite the understatement but I just said yeah. Lol.
