I'll be 10 months in early Feb.
I agree: 2 months.

Not really, but I didn't know I was transitioning until about 5-6 months after perm. The last 2 months have felt longer than the first 7 actually, lol! The downside is that I don't have any photos or notes or anything from those months.

Transitioning for 16 months. So far I'm loving and learning my hair. There are something's that I don't know or understand but it's getting easier by the day. Enjoy this journey.

Welcome! Do you have pictures? I foresee long term transitioning in my future. What kind of styles work for you? Thank you!!

Question: when I relaxed my hair on September 27,2012 my perm didn't really take. I decided to go natural after that date, but because of the fact it didn't really take would I be considered as transitioning before then?

Thumbs up 6 months in!

Dealing with two textures seems like it will be tricky! lol. After washing and DC I have twisted my hair using eco styler gel. Not sure how its going to turn out, im untwisting them tomorrow! (good luck to me )

A perm that doesn't quite take is texlaxing I believe? You should count from Sept 27...unless you have all natural growth that's been growing since the perm before September.
