I just wanted to know where everyone was from , how long have you been transitioning , & what made you start your transition .???

My name is Bre !! I'm from Memphis, TN and I have been transitioning for 4 months and 1 week on tommorow (last relaxer was 1/10/12) & I was tired of chemical burns from the creamy crack !!! Lol

Haha. Small world. Ashlie, Enterprise,AL Last relaxer 8/10/2011. I was tired of the burns, breakage, not reaching the desired length, I never understand why everyone else's natural hair is fine but mine will cause a stir. Not a Natural militant I feel its just hair for the most part. But I do smile when I see other naturals.

I am Alisha. I am from mobile,al. Been transitioning since 12-3-11. I just hit six months post. So far breakage has not been the enemy which makes me happy because I have mbl hair and don't plan on bc'ing until at least month 18.
