I did like 14 braids with perm rods at the ends. First I parted my hair in 4 sections. Then did 4 braids on each side in the front. Then 3 on each side in the back. Hope this helps. I also did let it air dry a little.

I just got yarn braids/genie locs done! So excited! First time with braids! Hoping for a great transition style that lasts and lets my hair be un touched!

Thanks! I should also say it's the only style I've been successful with lol. Its just a tight roller set on orange perm rods. I've set it under the dryer for about an hour then air dry the rest of the way (thick spongy hair). I use EVOO to seal and One n Only Argan Oil styling cream (smells amazing) and my curls come out very soft with good hold.
