Nubie - I picked shea butter. I am still scared of henna. I dont want my curl pattern altered. I got my order from BnB yesterday and I order cassia. I think I am gonna try it next month.

im scared of henna too. i want the red tintish look but the overall process intimidates me. maybe ill bully chrs to do it, lol. although, now that tia has no fear of color i can feed off her energy cuz she's re-motivated me to try color...im so undecisive!!

what does the cassia do? is it for the conditioning and strengthing?

Cassia pretty much does the same thing as henna minus the reddish tint. I am using it to see if my shine/sheen factor increases. Most curlies that use it say their shine/sheen increased.

(Week 14 Day 2)

Today is Roxie's 7th month Anniversary!!! I am so happy with her progress thus far. I decided to do a length check since she is out today.

As you can see Roxie is in a puff today. I want to wash my hair so bad. I think I will get a chance to do it tomorrow. Can you say BUILD UP?!!! Roxie feels so icky!! It's time to shampoo and because I use MJ Baby Buttercream, I will be using a sulfate shampoo....Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo. I'm not sure how I will style it. The rollers I have are too big so I have to purchase some smaller ones to do a rollerset. I may borrow some from my godsister, my former stylist.

I forgot to tell you guys I got my BnB order yesterday. It came Saturday but I missed the mailman when he came to the door. I tried to flag him down after he made the block (that's a Product Junkie for ya) but he didnt see me. I almost ran after the mail truck but my neighbors were outside.

I had to pick it up at the post office. Anyway, I ordered the trio butters and cassia. I plan to try the cassia next month.
