The weeks just seem to jet by so quickly! I'm glad you all enjoyed my montage/pictorial of Nina over the year. As I've been inspired by so many of you, I hope to inspire someone, also! It humbles me greatly to be told I'm an inspiration. That's a such big deal and a wonderful feeling.

In hair news, I rocked my signature braidout this weekend. My hair has reached collar-bone length (stretched); very excited about that! I hoping my unstretched hair will graze my shoulders in the next 6 months. Monday, I wore a BAA (3rd day braidout) and yesterday I pulled it to side. Here are some pics!

My kids always tell me to throw up the peace sign in pics! Clearly, I don't, but I just did for GP!

Today's hair, I'll post the results later. Last night I flat twisted my hair in two strand twists. I'm still trying to perfect the technique, and it's still challenging for me. I figured out that I had to part my hair in two from ear to ear. My hair is different lengths and it's easier to twists the bottom half and then the top half. The twists were ok, but so not clean. Not my best. I tried to make them less thick, which I'm still working on. Then I used my perm rods and rolled the ends. I guess we can call it a Modified TnC. I took the rods out when I woke up.

I missed a twist and had one rod left in.

Your pictures are gorgeous as always! The sideways puff is hot! I am trying to learn how to flat twist with two strand twists also. I am determined to get it right one day.
