Okay , so i im need of a cell phone . I feel like im the only high schooler that doesnt have a cel phone . Not able to get one . Everyone has iphone and touch screen phones . And those that dont hve phone have ipods . I just want a phone and truly need one . But I blessed either way , I want to knw if im the only high school student without a phone,ipod ,ipad ?

No! I haven't had a phone since April, never had any apple product even though I would love to have on but my mom's the type that doesn't believe in "extras". So as of now, I'm saving up my money to buy a phone from whoever sells one, but I definitely want a smartphone with all the honor class things I have to do and the apps we can use to do things while away from home.

I can somewhat relate. I didn't have a cell phone all through college. I even remember us having a dorm meeting and the dorm director was referencing something and told us all to use our cell phone. I was thinking "Hey! I don't have one." lol Are you old enough to get a part time job? If you aren't into all the bells and whistles maybe you can just get a trac phone or a pay as you go phone with a small carrier.

I agree with CeeCee, just get a pay per phone. You always know exactly how much your phone bill costs. I have a trac phone and I love it. It does everything I want it to.

Girl, we didn't have iPhones when I was in high school, lol. I believe the only reason my mother allowed me to have a cell phone was because I attended school in a rough neighborhood. I think that it is important to have a cell phone because anything could happen. However, you don't necessarily have to have an iPhone.

You could go to Metro PCS, where the bill is between $40-$50 each month (if you can afford it).

yeah i have thought bought prepaid , but the thing is i dont have the monry to by phone star up minutes and pay month to month . i make to come up with $20 if i do somthing for the staff maybe . do anybody know of compines wgere you can get free phone or does anybody have a old phone i could have maybe. because i need a phone walk home and to the bus stop. ppl know days crazy . like a girl in my class dont got a phone but she got a ipod touch i think , and she can text off of it .

It suck to not have a cell phone , because the only time i can talk to few classmates is through facebook when i go to the library or at school . I know there prepaid phones but i dont have the $ to pay every month , and God knows that I wish i could get a job but no place hire at my age , transportation,etc. And walk to and from is a risk since people know days dont have sense . My friends dont know i live in a shelter and one the other day said Girl you dont got a phone , and you dont even have a ipod touch . I felt very bad .
