Verizon doesn't do early upgrades, so I had to get another iPhone 4. I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive today.

Got my new iPhone from Asurion and the power button doesn't work and now I can't send a text. I can't wait to lay them out when I get home

I had an iphone 4 and they are now sending me a 4S, which I will be receiving tomorrow. I gave them a mouthful. Poor guy. lol

AT&T didn't give me an early upgrade, I was already eligible for an upgrade when my 4 was stolen but I was saving my upgrade for the 5. But since the thievery, I had to go ahead and get the 4s because I wasn't going to pay full price to replace the 4 with another 4. I had no insurance because the insurance is a crock. It's like $7 a month and if your phone is stolen, the deductible is $200. I'm like um... I paid $200 for the new phone anyway so what's the point of paying $7 a month to still have a high deductible? No bueno.

They sent me another REFURBISHED phone when they said it would be new. I plug in the 4S and there is a white line at the bottom of the screen that will not go away. The screen is distorted! Unbelievable. Lord help the person I about to speak to on the phone. I absolutely hate Asurion.

question!! is it better to order the iphone 5 from at&t or the apple store?

If you are due for an upgrade, the apple store because sometimes the carriers get the buggy devices. Only time I buy from the carriers is if I'm paying a discounted retail price, and during that time the device is 6 mths old or more and the buggier phones are already gone

I've bought from both and the only buggy phone I've gotten was from Apple. I think it's a shot in the dark. Just go with whoever is convenient and can get your phone the fastest. If you happen to get a weird phone which isn't uncommon because that's how electronics are, it's warranted for a year. Regardless of where you purchased it, take it to an Apple store & they'll swap it out with a new one.
