I've had the iPhone since the 3G off and on. I used to change phones every 6mths. (Junkie) Anyways, back then the iPhone use to freeze, drop calls, blink off, random reboots and do some crazy stuff. I have seen that OS come a looooong way. I've had an Android since the HTC Hero with Cupcake build OS. I've been through all the force closes, blink and call somebody at random and random reboots you can handle. I must say that both OS have come a looooong way. I have the iPhone because I wanted simplicity. But my heart is with Android because I can use it JUST like a pc and there are some things even today I still cannot do with the iPhone (ex. Email a music file or download directly on the device).
It's really a matter of preference because both OS have their quirks. Right now I'm okay with simplicity. In a few mths I may want some complications in my life again and upgrade to Android. I do miss the super AMOLED screen tho. The retina-A screen on the iPhone really pales in comparison. But anyway, just my 2cents
