4G refers to the technology that makes the Android phones ten times faster than regular 3G service. Verizon uses old analog television signals which allows the network to cover a big area and greater speeds. All IPhones are 3G. Android gives you access to more free applications and better speeds, and the capability to user your phone as mobile hotspot.

4G is more advanced technology now in these days and yes I think so they can make diffrence because you just want to use Internet so with 4G technology you can high speed on internet and it will be access very quick which you like to use. So you should purchse android 4.0.

Just bought HTC EVO Design 4G!!! Can't wait for it to get here!!! I had an Epic and stepped on it. Still works but so tired of looking at the cracked screen!

Don't really care for the IPhone. I have an IPod Touch which is basically the same thing. I just cant talk on it and need WiFi to use but that takes care of my crave for the IPhone apps when I hear about something real nice thats out only for IPhone.

I would like to go with Android, It is quite smart actually. It is damn simple to use and one can easily organize their stuffs on android. Almost all of the google app supports android.

I would go for the Android. I feel like iPhones are overrated. I already have an iPod touch, what do I need an iPhone for? They don't come with batteries which bother me because I like to take my phone apart as a simple fix when it's acting up. Only bad thing about androids that I know if is that the battery life doesn't last.

I went to the Verizon store and the sales lady made it seems as though I was making the biggest mistake of my life by getting an iPhone. She said I should get a Droid because they are 4G and that they are the best on the market. I was ashamed to admit I have no idea what 4G means. I told her I would think about it and come back. My question is, does the 4G make a real difference? The only thing I really do on my phone is text. I don't play games or watch movies on my phone. I occasionally get on the internet.
I don't know what it is, but Verizon sales people hate the iPhone. When I was shopping around for a new phone the first thing the sales guy asked me was "Is there any reason why you would want an iPhone?" He made me want the iPhone even more because of his disdain for it. lol I'll have to agree to disagree with everyone who thinks the iPhone is overrated. Over a year later I still love my phone.

This. The iPhone is definitely overrated and just seems to be one of those MUST HAVE trendy phones. I also have an IPod Touch and I agree that it's pretty much an IPhone without the calling features. The only advantage that I like about the IPhone is its various options/categories when it comes to the app store..compared to the Android store.

I also got the Samsung Galaxy SIII today and I must say that I am impressed with it..I can't tell you how much I love the dimensions of this phone when it comes to the screen size\phone itself compared to the IPhone's small size. Same thing goes for the camera, speed, and other nifty features.

I have an iPhone now but had a droid before this. I have to say while the iPhone is a simple smart phone, I love my droid better. My droid had great memory, never had any serious problems, great pics, and a lot of the apps were free. I like my iPhone but if I had to choose between the two, I would get a droid.

The Droid battery also much better than the iPhone's battery.
The iPhone 4s has an 8 mp camera not 5. Im also not quite sure if that battery life comment is correct either.

Same here. I've had the iPhone 3G, 4 and now the 4s and compared to the top of the line Droid phones, the Droid beat the iPhone like a a lion attack on Bambi. The Droid OS is years ahead of iOS and yes most of the apps that Apple charge for are free on the Droid, including the free mp3 music files. You can block calls on a Droid but can't on the iPhone which is a shame considering how much they cost. Droids have Adobe Flash, which allows the user to have way more access to websites that the iPhone cannot. There are certain videos that I LOVE that I cannot even view because the iPhone doesn't have Flash. I hate like HELL I didn't get the Samsung Galaxy II when it was out. But hopefully I will be able soon to trade my iPhone in for a Galaxy III.
