What do you think about the Fire? I would get it if 3G was offered. I would even pay for the 3G.

The lack of 3G is definitely a huge factor. I have the Kindle WiFi+3G now so I think I will wait and see if they offer the Fire with 3G. When I'm on the go, I may not have access to WiFi so that's a downside to the Fire.

You are right. I am happy with mines also, but it would be nice to stream. I think it will be offered. Amazon is just waiting to see how the Fire will do.

The Kindle Fire will be $199. It is in color, but it will not come with 3G. There will be one that will cost $79.

I have it. It's ok. It suits my needs. It does not have the full android market so be aware. I can play games, surf the net, and send emails, read magazines and read books. I choose not read books on it because I have the Kindle keyboard. What you should do is go on Amazon and read the reviews for it and go to Best Buy and play with one of their displays. A lot of people think its like an Ipad and they tend to be disappointed, but those are the people who didn't do their research. It is small enough to throw in my bag and just go. The wifi works perfectly.

Oh I also use it mostly to watch Netflix, Hulu and Amazon Prime and listen to music. I love it for that.
