I tried several times to do a TO, and my hair just didn't look right... I stopped doing them and wore WNG's exclusively. Then, about a week ago I tried a TO again, and my hair did the same thing...nothing! So, back to WNG's I went (I actually love them).

So, if two flat twists work, do that.

Oh, and your hair is pretty - that's at least 7!

Yea I am a wng kinda girl myself. I do them 99.8% of the time but you are quite right, if it ain't broke don't fix it so when I am doing the "twistout" I will go back to my 2 flat twists and leave it at that.
I was committing one of the cardinal natural hair sins, i.e. coveting the luscious twists of others while knowing darn well that my hair can't do that!
Thanks ladies for all your responses and advice.

I am ashamed to say that you totally hit the nail on the head with that one!! (I am even more ashamed to admit that I even made her shea butter as if it was the magic potion to give me her beautimus twists!)
I should know better.... Hangs head in shame (while still opening youtube and watching the hair porn)...

Default Tried one last time

Ladies,

I don't mean to keep this post going but I decided to try one last time with this Twistout thing and dare I say it...
I think just maybe...
It might just actually have...
I don't want to jinx it or let it hear me and decide to spite me BUT...
It came out looking pretty Spiffy!
(Well to me!)

My hair won't stay twisted at the ends either. I put a use and end paper at the end of my twist and then I wrap the very end around a perm rod. I love your hair by the way!!!
