Default Marley hair?

Does anyone know how to get this style? I thought it was marley braid; but it seems so stiff. Or am I doing it wrong?

I always want to take small portions of hair to twist because I'm so used to braiding, micros.

You need kinky hair for this style. Those are kinky twists.

Is this kinky enough?

Where do I start? It's not like braiding is it?

The lighting in the house is extra poor, lol.

I'm sorry pyces is right just didn't remember the name. I had this style done last summer professionally.

This is what the hair looks like. It is twists so they twist it in.

Well I'm going to try it again. I don't know if I need coconut oil, shea butter or what.

You don't need any product in particular. Just make sure your hair is moisturized before you put them in

Does marley hair feel really plasticy, like kanekelon? I had senegalese twists last fall, and loved the low maintenance, but I couldnt stand the way they felt.

it doesnt it feels rough. Kinda like my hair, lol. I like it though. I really missed my hair when I had senegalese twists. It didn't feel like my hair. It was silky and smooth and looked awful as my hair started curling out of them. I was not happy but it was a bday gift from the hubs and I was about 16 weeks prego and didn't feel like fooling with my fro too much.

I know how you feel about missing the curls. And I thought it was sweet of your husband to help you out like that.

I'm glad not all braid hair feels icky. I've been thinking about putting in kinky twists, but the texture of the fake hair always turned me off. Can you get marley hair at Sally's or another bss, or do I have to order it online?
