I love them. In fact I plan to purchase another kit...the long and narrow. My hair falls to the top of my shoulders.

What do you use to set your hair? My curls never last more than a day without froing up. Lol.

I just did my first Curlformers set last night.... I went to Sally's & picked up 2 more packs for a total of 3. I had 2 long & narrows, & 1 extra-long & wide (because that was all they had left). Turns out the long & narrows are too short for my hair (almost BSL)... I had about half an inch hanging out at the ends so I was sure it was going to come out jacked up but it didn't (whew). The long & narrows had 8 rollers per pack and the other one only had 6. I just barely had enough for my entire head but I made it. At first I thought I was going to pull my hair out but I eventually got the hang of it. I should have detangled better first fo sho! My hair was in an old style & very kinky so I can't believe how smooth my strands came out. I used Infusion 23 & Lottabody, then Garnier Sleek & Shine Leave In followed by jojoba oil. I don't do the shirley temple look so I seperated the spirals & puffed them up a bit this morning. This is definitely a good look and a new routine to add into the rotation.

I'm only on Day 1, but I got some great tips from feistykoos on YT (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SCZ8yCAjK-I&feature=youtube_gdata_player). One was rather than using a water-based ingredient to refresh, try an oil, pomade, or something of that nature. She also advises do not set the Curlformers on wet hair if you are using a leave-in conditioner... let it air dry until almost dry. Then using a setting lotion, foaming mousse, aloe vera gel, or whatever your setting product of choice is. Don't spray with water. The setting product itself will rewet the strands for just enough moisture.

I use more oil based products and I sometimes dry them under the bonnet dryer.

Sounds like some great suggestions I may try those as well.
