When I simply wet my hair then apply my oil and leave-in, my curls pop like crazy. Same when I do my acv rinse. But whenever I cowash, my hair is just a frizzy mess. Same when I use stylers, so I just dont use those anymore. And I've tried 3 different conditioners and always get the same results. Is there a solution? Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me....

Yep. Cowashing is the devil. I don't understand how people do it.
My solution: I wet my hair in the shower daily; shake hard to distribute the water (or use my fingers to massage it through; let my curls pop and then apply my product (curl activator and silicones).

That happens to me too. I cowash everyday and if I use a new conditioner my hair gets like yours. Its weird. Its like my hair has to adjust to the new conditioner

I wouldn't consider it a "problem". I think it's just you figuring out what will or won't work for your hair. Me, I love the effect co-washing has on my hair; things just don't look right when I try to just wet it. I don't consider this right, wrong, or a problem, just me figuring out that this is what my hair needs for now. If co-washing doesn't work for you, just don't do it

I cowash daily and my hair curls look great. It has definately help me with the dryness after the BC
but I guess it doesn't work for everybody..Sent from my HTC Magic using Tapatalk 2 |

One thing to remember is it takes time for hair to adjust. I've heard several curlies comment about how it took a few weeks of consistent cowashing for their hair to respond. I've been cowashing for months, and when I try other styling products, they don't work well. I have even found some conditioners that don't work well, so keep trying until you find what your hair likes.
