Hair is constantly growing unless you suffer from a scalp condition such as alopecia.Remember back to when you used to get touch ups. Every month the average person grows about a 1/2 inch of hair. That is average so some people grow more but others grow less. That is how long your hair is growing.Dependent upon your hair type you may not actually see growth because of the tight curls and coils.

To maximize your growth potential make sure you
1.Eat balanced meals, take vitamins, and drink plenty of water.
2.Follow a consistent hair care routine to cleanse, condition, deep condition, and moisturize your hair.
3.Ensure that there is the proper balance between protein and moisture in your hair care routine.Every person is different some people need more but others require less.Listen to your hair's needs.
4.As your hair grows select no or low manipulation protective styles.

My hair has grown a lot since I first BC'd but you can't really tell because I have major shrinkage. I'm not yet into doing stretched styles and may never be because I'm lazy and hate spending a lot of time on my hair. Because of this, I just accept that my hair will never look as long as it actually is. Clearly, based on your post, you don't feel the same way, so I'm sorry I don't have any real advice or encouragement , except maybe try out some stretched styles if you don't already do it?

It seemed like I left the twa stage one random day. I cowashed while in the shower and when I got out....I realized that the quick detangling process was noticeably nonexistent. From then on, I knew I was leaving the twa stage. I'm now almost two years in and although I love my hair length...I miss the freedom and ease that came along with a twa. Trust me....this time will pass. Try to enjoy each stage because one day it will be over....and that in itself has it's pros and cons.

Inquiring mind wants to know: Whats "BAA"? Not too long ago I learned twa = teeny weeny afro (and i guess even twa is all relative/personal... I wouldnt call some ppl's twa one, but they do). Lol sometimes reading articles or posts I feel like I need a natural hair thesaurus. Lol

Patience is a virtue. Increase your water intake & I dont know if you clip or trim a lot, but try to learn the difference btwn dry ends & damaged ends - that is if you're clipping. I was clipping a lot thinking I was damaged but was actually overtime taking off a lot of length. Re-examine your process/methods. Best wishes!!!

Oh! 😱....... LMBOOO😄OOO 😄. Oh mercy, who comes up with this terminology/acronyms?! (rhetorical question, unless someone knows) Never seen BAA til yesterday, but these terms just spread like wildfire. Lol BAA.... Well hopefully since I stopped cutting & to ensure I wont, I have my hair in braids, I'll get there too. Lol

Try protective styling and make sure you trim the ends.
