Default Men and TWA's

Soooo I have been completely natural for almost a month. Not to put my business out there but I am single and i kinda of purposely didn't enter into a relationship bc I knew I was making this hair decision and I didn't want to be deterred on my path(Similar to when i got my relaxed hair cut ). So my questions are: Having a TWA/ natural hair what has been your experience with acceptance or lack from males? Also do you think your twa/ natural hair attracts a certain kind of male ? Either way I'm stick to natural but just curious what to expect.

Thanks ladies for your help in advance!!!!

Ever since I went natural I notice black men just stare at me in a way but when I have some extensions in like braids they give me positive attention. Other races of men couldn't give a damn on how my hair looked. I couldn't care less about how someone feels about my hair though. Because I still feel great about myself. I don't feel ugly or unfeminine having short hair. It actually fits my face and I looks better with short hair than long hair. Anyone who wants to bring negativity to me just based on my hair they're dismissed from my life.

I don't have a TWA but I pulled my hair into an updo this morning and my bf was like that looks like a guys hair cut. It doesn't bother me because I know how great I will look when I am fully naturally and I know he doesn't think of my any less. Ofcourse got to address the comments but any men can be ignorant of any race. Its the ones who will boost you up when you and youre hair is at a low that you gotta keep around.

Men who never saw you with longer hair will either love it because that's something they always like on women or dislike it because they just prefer longer hair (speaking from experience). I met plenty of men who loooved caesar cuts on women. For those who did know a person with longer hair pre twa more times than not they are shell shocked but once they are adjusted to it, it is fine. Since I am growing my hair now I get men who are obsessed with natural hair period. Before they were obsessed with my cut when I had a TWA.

Thats interesting to note. I saw one guy I used to date while wearing my two strand twists .....from our encounter I'm guessing he is the type who prefers long hair lol!! But idc bc it never worked anyways, lol

I'm not even gonna lie.I got NO attention when my hair was short.NONE. No matter what I did to make it look cute.I think I'm one of those people who look better with hair.TWA's don't fit everyone's face.I'm sorry but it's true.Y'all can say what you want but when I say no man would pay attention to me with a TWA I mean NONE.I tried accessories, used every product I could think to make my hair grow..I was miserable.I wish I had been a long term transitioner.
