Default BC'd now what?!!

After transitioning a second time for over a year (15 months exactly) I finally did the big chop on 6/10/12. But now I have no curl pattern! Tear My hair is 4 something, my staple products before the BC pretty much evaporate off my hair by midday and curls go bye bye. Help!!

There is a thread in here called "what to expect after you bc", check that out, because it has a wealth of knowledge!! But it sounds like you need to get your moisture balanced! Your hair sounds like and probably still is in shock! (which is very normal). How often are you cowashing? In the beginning, it's a great idea to cowash daily for like the first week or so, then every other day, every couple of days, etc. Some people also "baggy" (there's a couple of threads in here about that, as well), which can help with moisture! Right now, your focus needs to be on the moisture, because once that's balanced, the curls will come! Also, I have attached a vid of one of my staples since bcing 2/22/12...the "quick coil".... It will definitely give your twa some character! Hth!!!
