You're still in the trial and error faze. I just reached 3 months natural and I'm finally getting the hang of it!

2. Co wash: coconut Cowash, Vo5 clarifying conditioner, Tressemee naturals, Aussie 3 minute miracle, Givonanni 50/50 hydrating conditioner

3. Deep Conditioners (D T) Shea moisture deep treatment, and Anti breakage masque, Mixed silk deep treatment, ORS hair mayo

4. Moisturizers (Leave ins): Elasta Qp mango moisturizer, Cantu coconut curling cream, Shea moisture yucca and aloe growth milk, Kinky curly knot today, Givonanni direct leave in, Oyin's Hair dew, Nubian heritage edge taming taffy

5. Pomade/gels: Ecostyler gel - Olive oil or Argan oil, Flaxseed gel, Oyin handmade pomades, Carol's daughter pomade, Kinky curly curling custard

For our type 4 hair, you need a basic. LOC method. This will avoid dryness.

L: Liquid (leave in of some sort)
O: Oil
C: Creme

For me thats KCKT, Castor Oil and Shea butter mix.

Look at what you have and are using, what is that water based moisturizer?
