I hate everything aphogee ever since I was relaxed and it made my straw like and brittle. I'd rock with Aubrey organics gbp-protein shot without brittle hair. Used on dry hair

Tried the Aphogee 2 Minute Reconstructive..and it did nothing for my hair.

I was hoping it would at least make my hair healthy, but nothing. I had it in my hair for five minutes, washed it out..nada. Anyone else go through this?

Hey ladies, I almost forgot abt this thread, I did my hair in curlformers. The first time i did them I didn't use any styling product to hold them just shea butter, so they didn't stay too long but i like what it does to my hair, Make it so soft.

I tried them again on dry hair, don't know what i was thinking but they came out ... merely ok, wait no it wasn't good. But i still like my curlformers.

@Ilivemykinks and MsJ first what is the reason for breakage? It maybe dryness, color or they way you are DT and not bc of protein. Why do you think it's breaking? Or is it shedding? Do you see the white ball on the end?

So I have been natural for 2 n a half years n never done a wash n go,even when I big chopped. My hair being a 4z I didn't want it more tangled n dried,I stayed away from gels n too many product,basically I didn't have the curls for a wash n go. I love my protective styling n all,but 2weeks ago I started on a quest to achieve a decent wash n go,searched youtube, low n hair but there are a few 4z wash n go videos...anyway after taking down my braids I decided to do a wash n go, actually it was a co-wash,detangled,Afro detangler leave-in,coconut oil n a lot of gel,then a whole day n a plain ride of wet hair to a shrunken wash n go but I was happy abt it n bragged it to my cuz who makes fun of me not having any curls( not that I'm stack on curls or anything)
Bottom line is 4z's can do anything with their hair (although am not willing to go through all that in the name of curls). Oh n I got a bunch go compliment at both Indy n Philly airport 😊
