In19 weeks post relaxer and I decided to go ahead and do the big chop todsy before I changed my mind. When she finished I looked in the mirror like this is not what I expected. At all. I don't even know where to start. Ive never had my hair even close to this short and I know it sounds stupid but I feel ive lost some of my sex appeal. I'm really sad.

Things will get better, your confidence will grow with time. It may be shocking, and indeed it is, but don't let it discourage you. You have made the right choice. There may not be alot you can do to it now but make sure you moisture it daily an remember now in this stage water is your best friend. Praying for the best!

Awwe I completely understand. I had the same issues when I BC. So I wore wigs(kinky curly ones) as apposed to braids or weaves. And on my days off I would ditch the wig and experiment with my hair. Accessories are your best friends. Just take your time it will grow on you. Cheer up and good luck!

Don't worry, I'm sure most woman have that thought initially. I know I did, I was telling ym husband I know you think I look like a little boy & I would stand in the mirror and try and find something cute about it. it does take time....Honestly while I still feel I may look a bit better on the surface with a weave and my jacked up hair fried to the 9th wonders of the world, internally I have never felt sexier, then with my puff with a faux braid in front &some lipgloss. Honestly men have really responded to it as well especially my husband. It's something about the confidence of being able to rock the hairstlye that most people are attracted to then the hairstyle it
s self/ Give it time, soon enough it will be long & luscious once more.

+1....I have to remember this when I do my BC
