I love, love, love this mix. I got it from Oooop2, a curly on this forum.

3 tablespoons shea butter
1 tablespoon castor oil
1 tablespoon EVOO
1 tablespoon EVCO

I use it on my two and three strand twist...Here's a pic of my latest set of twist using the mix

Thanks. If you hair loves oils and butters like Roxie (my hair's name) does, then this mix is a winner!

I hear everyone talking about Shea Butter all the time so I finally went to get some for my DD and I can not stand the smell! Even when I mixed it with coconut oil it was so smelly to me. Do you think if I mixed other oils in it it would smell better?

I love to mix lemongrass essential oil with my shea butter. Hubby says my hair smells like lemon cake. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I love the smell of shea butter Smile

i was going to mix up the whole thing but i decided to do what you did and use 2 scoops , so happy i did cause now i can have more to try it with different stuff.

I mixed mines with

2 scoops of shea butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
2 tablespoons of coconut oil

a squirt of aloe vera gel
a squirt of kinky curly knot today

& wow my hair has never been this shiny and moisturized in my life , the only problem i had was it was a bit clumpy =|

if you want it to be totally clump free you can melt it out (mostly or all the way), or (if you don't already) you can whip it with a hand mixer. I whipped mine for a good ten minutes last time (without melting) and it looks like cream cheese frosting

-8 ounces shea butter
-3tbsp coconut oil
-2tbsp aloe vera gel
-10-20 drops of tangerine oil

My shea mixture has shea butter, coconut oil, extra virgin olive oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, avocado oil, rosemary essential oil, lemongrass essential oil. I made it such a long time ago. I can't remember the exact amounts.

My mixture is about the same as Ms. Fenty. I love love love it (*touching hair right now*). I usually melt the shea butter (not all the way) then mix the other ingredients. If it gets too liquidy I just stick it in the refrigerator.
