Butter-N-Bars and Gels

I have been without a relaxer for 1 1/2 years now and recently jumped on the all natural bandwagon (co-wash, essential oils, no silicon, etc). I was wondering if anyone has used any of the hair butters (especially the Dandruff Control) from Butter-N-Bars? What is your opinion? Also Aloe Vera Gel vs HE Set Me Up Gel....your opinion? Thanks gals!

I have used aloe vera gel and HE Set Me Up Gel. I have used aloe vera gel, both the FOTE brand and 100% gel. I like it's moisturizing properties. It did not provide me enough hold from what I recall.

As for the HE SMUG, I use it for hold over a moisturizer in warm temperatures. It has great hold and is CG-friendly.

You can check out jamaicacurl's and freestyles' BnB Challenge. They have recipes for flax seed gel. I have made it and used it. The results were pretty good. I plan to experiment more with flax seeds and gel in the near future--come on spring!

Ok, thanks. I think I am definetly going to try HE SMUG as well as check out those receipes.
