Thank you and I appreciate you following us. We have had so many failed styles but some of them are good. I just learned how to braid her hair, u know like cornrows and rope twists, I'm not a master but I'm getting there. I am having trouble with beads though, i can't seem to wrap the last bead, I tried snaps, looked cute but she loves to show her hair off and constantly touches the snaps until they come open and bam.. loses all the beads... any tips on that???

I started to read your blog, it reminded me when I was a teenager and my mama used to relax my hair every 6 months and sometimes felt like my scalp was peeling off!! she always tried to get so close to the root OMG... it felt like fire then i would have like little blisters on my scalp and get this... the only curly part of my hair is in the middle..my roots are kind of straight and also the ends..i call it "the can't make up his mind".. my mama was brutal!!

I'm about to read your flat twists post.... that's the style bree has today, i didn't undo the twists, i sent her to school like that, when she gets home I will undo the twists, fluff it a bit and take her pics for the Baby Big Hair site.. LOL

lol, I started doing mine myself pretty early on. in my teens. I just hated going to the salon and sitting there ALL day.. I just got some aussie hair insurance leave in for myself, but it works really well on my sons hair. I spray some on, add my little castor oil mix then top it with the soft and precious. his hair feels so silky and soft. even by the end of the day, it doesn't feel all dry and frizzy as usual. Now, just gotta find something for myself lol.
