Default soft and precious

I've been using this on my sons hair for a while with great results. I just couldn't bring myself to purchase that super expensive "mixed kids" branded stuff. I recently started using diluted oils I use in my hair while wet then layer the soft and precious on top. His hair is a lot less frizzy and very soft. Seems to have grown out more too

We do not use Mixed Chicks either! I tried it because it as highly recommended but to me it was a waste. It felt like it was stripping her hair. We are now using Bee Mine Products (Bee Mine Moisturizer & Curly Butter). I add just a bit Argain oil to the Moisturizer and it's great!

I have never tried Soft & precious but I'm glad that you found something that really works for him! and that doesn't kill your pocket...

oh yea, it works great on his fine, dry, curly hair. I've seen the Bee Mine in reviews and forums, but since I don't regularly shop for hair products I haven't seen it in stores. I'm too cheap and impatient to go around trying a bunch of stuff for either him or me lol

LOL! I'm a product junkie... (for me) and Im a "hair accessories" junkie when it comes to her...lol finding the right shampoo has proven to be difficult, very difficult. Right now we are trying Shea Moisture Shampoo, hopefully that will work for us during the winter months. Bee Mine has been really good to us, although what works for my son is Beautiful Textures, even their deep repair conditioner makes his hair super soft. I'm about to do a deep conditioner treatment on her hair, its from the new Argan Oil line...

Suave 2-1. and done lol.. I even used it on my own hair, works wonderfully. my son is 20 months and hate when I rise his hair (well, he hates the water running down his face. much like I do lol).. got it on sale for 1.97 at Target. If he was a girl though, I might try harder.. might. if I can get him to sit still long enough for me to oil and detangle his hair, I'm doing very well!!

Now, I love to shop for hair accessories, but again my cheapness kicks in so I don't really ever [I]buy[I] anything lol. In fact, I want to learn to make my own, just to get around spending 10 bucks on some flowers glued to a bobby pin

OMG, if i could be that crafty! i probably would too! my daughter is 3yrs and she hates the water running down her face too.. so this is what i do..KITCHEN SINK! LMAO!! i lay her on the counter and use the sprayer thingy to wash her hair and she loves it... well, she hates to lay for long period of time so I wash her hair, rinse it out and let her sit back up so i can add conditioner and detangle her hair.
to get her bows I go to the local hair store and I get them for .99 each...LMAO i get them in all colors!! i love the alligator clip because the other ones break her hair...and I only let her use the clips when she's with me, if i send her to school she'll come home without one.

ooh, I've never seen them that cheap.. again, probably from my lack of looking lol. If it ain't at walgreens or target then I have no idea lol. I need to start branching out more. maybe stop being so cheap.

I shower with my son, that is the only way he will let me rinse his hair without throwing a big fit. I hold him back in my arms and let the water hit his head. He clenches on to me for his life, but he closes his eyes then falls asleep after a few minutes. perfect for me, then I just dress him and put him to bed. Detangling can wait lol.

lol! that sounds like my son. I tested him by "pouring" the empty cup on his head and he freaked out and starting wiping his face, I looked at him and said "micah, the cup is empty. what are you wiping off your face??" lol. he makes me laugh. Its mean, but I love to mess with him like that :P. looked at your blog by the way, your kids are adorable!
