I am currently trying to find a great moisturizer for my daughters 3c hair. It is thick and extremely long. It tangles easily and is dry. I have tried a few products, but nothing with great results. Please Help!

Beautiful little girl. Please list the products you've tried and the results so we don't mention the same things.

Thank you. I have used pink oil moisturizer, hawaiian silky miracle worker, kids organics shea butter moisturizing hair lotion, shea butter, coconut oil with water. Those are the more recent products, but I have used countless others over the years. The picture I posted is 2-3 years old so the hair is longer, and I dare say thicker so moisture retention has become more difficult.

Awww...she is just darling!!! Beautiful little girl with gorgeous hair.I've used the Taliah Waajid Protective Mist Bodifier to detangle then use the SM Curl & Style Milk. If the TW Protective Mist Bodifier is too thick then you can dilute it with water by putting some in a spray bottle and mix. My son's hair is about a 3C and his hair likes these products.I'm a 4A/B with some 3C and my hair responds well to them too.

My fave moisturizers are Bee Mine Luscious, Shea Mositure, Blended Beauty & Cara B Naturally. My daughter has long 3c/4a/3b hair and these brands keep her hair moisturized for a longggg time, I also seal it in with a oil.

Hi your little girl is beautiful!
I'm a 3b and I find that when it comes to looser curls a lot of stuff is just gonna weigh it down especially with her length. I would reccommend going CG (Curly Girl) and not using any oils that are too heavy to be washed out with water alone and only use silicone free products and conditioners. It really does help. If you chose not to take that route perhaps something with glycerin or some kind of glycerin mix. |

My daughter has 3c Hair and lots of it. We are in love with Bee Mine Luscious Moisturizer (i sometimes add a few dropsof Argan Oil). I find myself using BM Luscious Moisturizer before styling and to maintain her styles.
