I think it just takes time. Sometimes if they're having a bad day i'll make it quick by mixing the shampoo and conditioner and do one rinse. I barely do that now since they've gotten used to it but it used to work esp when i tell em that i'm only gonna rinse this time lol they're like " okay mommy this one time"

With Arianna I just use the suave 2 n 1 for kids, because I know she doesn't like it. I do agree that with time she'll get used to it.

Exactly how my mom did it! Way more relaxing and less stressful for both of us! Only downfall was it was hard for me to hold my head up, my neck would give out lol.

Can you possibly find a product like this My daughter hates having her hair washed!-imageuploadedbycurlynikki1350438328.723263.jpg?
It attaches to the sink, no tools. Ask the store about return policy if it doesn't fit well. Test it, turn water on & adjust water pressure to your liking... A BIG saver on my back & ears. She liked it, said it tickled. No mess, nothing in eyes or ears. Easy to control where I put water. I got it from Rite Aid on clearance.. One of the best finds ever!!! (Note: not made for shower...tested it & it was a very watery comdedic scene lol)

It attaches to the kitchen sink? What about the bath tub? I'll have to look for it thanks!

I guess it depends on how your bathtub faucet is shaped (where the water comes out). But I removed our shower head to get it to the narrow part, didnt even have it high & the water going thru was too much. Guess water pressure in the bathtub/shower is different than the kitchen sink. But check it out for yourself. I think it's a wonderful invention lol

Childrren enjoy feeling their help is needed, participating in their own care and explaining things to adults (she will learn alot, too). You both can also wash a doll's hair. No fun always having to submit to everyone and feeling "little". If these tips work, she may actually begin asking for hir day! (just watch that she dies not sneak off to water souces alone to try her new skills/fun & harm herself with hot water which can cause 3rd degree burns -- btw, there are hot water guards you can buy)
Wow, thanks! That's really informative. What are hot water guards?
