Oh wow!!! Looking up what african threading is, I came across a great blog: chocolate hair, vanilla care... And I love what she's doing!!! Bravo to that mom. Thanks for posting about this threading (not that I'll do it; she moves too much). All I did was come in to look for bantu knots on kids because I didn't like the styles on the net I browsed. I like the end results.

When I watched a video by "chocolate hair vanilla care", I noticed not much tension like with braiding & twisting. That mother did kind of tuck and roll as she did it though. Seems to go faster than braiding also with skill of course. Lol. It's a thought. It's certainly a new technique to me, one I never heard of. How old is your daughter? Do you have another pic that's a little lighter? How long does it last & have you done it often? I'm sure more you do it, the better you'll get

My baby doll - cornrows w/ bantu knots (which I'm sure that part won't last. She already started tinking them, aka plucking at them, soon as I had finished smh lol). The back half is just in two-strand twists.

* Earlier this week, I had the section where the cornrows are in two afro puffs. The back was twisted. Just refreshed those where needed to complete the above style*

Lol. Oh wow... It comes undone like that? I'm not concerned about stretch but glad an alternative purpose can be obtained cause if I were I'd feel like that's time wasted. Lol... Maybe a style you can master for when it's time for pictures or special occassions. Lol

Tried the camille rose almond jai twisting butter on my daughters hair. Its okay. I still like the beemine curly butter better.
