Usually my period is a week long. I have had my period since the 28th of feb until now. Im not on any birth control. Never been. After the first usual week it started to go away. Then the very next day it came back full force!
Ever since its been real heavy HEAVY. Any ideas on what it could be? I want to see a dr. But dont have insurance.

Have you tried Wed MD to see if you can find out there.. Also is there a health department in your area to where you can go there.. They may charge something if you are working but not as much as Doctor office will charge.. Only draw back from the health department is the long wait..

If you are a student at a college they usually have infirmary there.

My guess...fibroid tumors.

I'm scared. Lol. I asked my mom about it and she said it could be stress. I am dealing with the death of my cousin but its not as bad as when i first found out she passed. Idk. But i will set up an appt with a clinic

Do you have any clinics in your area? I personally wouldn't go by WebMD only because it can make you super paranoid lol. It's usually not what you assume it to be.

@lady judah- i found a clinic in my area. I made a appt. I really didnt find anything about my situation on webmd. I think going to a dr will be better

That happened to me a few years ago.

My period usually lasts 7 days, but one time it was going on for like 3 weeks. I went to my doctor, they tested me for anemia (nothing)...she could really explain it, so they put me on a lower dosage of birth control pills and I have been pretty regular ever since. My period probably would have gone on longer had I not done anything, but then again, your diagnosis might be different.

My periods lasts 3-4 days and i don't take mesications. Definitely go see a doctor. The websites mentioned are good ones but it's always best to see medic. You can even walk into an emergency room. Good luck!
