Raven, after being rejected by the NASA contractor and their recruiter THREE times, the Sunday after the last rejection, the sermon was "And God said 'This One's On Me.'"

Rev. Deck said that he applied for a refi for the church (he's the church accountant) and they got rejected. 4 days later, he got an email with the refi of a lifetime.

God said "This one's on me."

Later that week, NASA asked me to come in to interview for a better position than I had applied for.

God said "This one's on me!"

Honny, I just keep thinking of "he's on time God yes he is". I have that song replaying in my mind. The other song I love is "God is good." Your testimony of acquiring your dream job is so encouraging to the unemployed and the employed. Sometimes a setback is just a set up for a comeback!

Good afternoon curlies!

Happy anniversary Honny! I am sure once you speak with your parents, all will be fine. Sometimes parents have to be reminded of things at a certain age.

Raven, congrats on your son being accepted to two colleges and getting scholarships!

God is good!

Thanks, Letha. I want the best for my son. He's SO happy now, y'all. He is so excited.

I wish I was prissy and proper. I mean, I have manners but I'd rather wear jeans than a dress. I can never get my make up right.

I do black hippie chic better than black proper lady. Lol.. I'm that teacher with unusual jewlery and comfy clothes. Yep, that's me! Lol

lol Raven she wears jeans but she has to dress them up with a blazer or something like that.. Her aunt me will wear a pair a jean and some sneakers quick..lol At least she stills talks to me my nephew got mad over something I said to him and he won't don't talk to me..lol I still gave him a graduation gift when he graduated.. It took him I know about 2 months to call and thank me and I think that was only because his mom kept asking did you thank your aunt for your gift.. Some kids these days but I over looked it.

I got him a bunch of food from college.. Went to Sam's club and racked up for him.. Oodles of Noodles, Pringles, Capri Sun, Snacks, Doughnuts anything he had on his list I got for him to start him off and all in bulk..

Now my niece I will give her the same option and I also thought about buying her some clothes but I better stick with the food I think she has expensive taste and if her aunt clothes are not expensive then hers won't be either..lol

I would eat that once every 5 years! Hubby would eat it a few times a day.

That bacon website was...overwhelming.

So, I made one of the steaks that hubby bought and the cabbage. The cabbage was great. I smoked the steak and the part I ate (a very small section) was like shoe leather. Hubby ate mine and his and was in heaven, but said my cut was tough.

I'm braising the other steak.

Hi everyone

Honny, happy anniversary.

Raven, I so happy for your son. I am most comfortable in my Hippy chic clothes; I love the 60's and 70's true hippy style.

Welcome Welcome Beandme
