Hello all...

First: Biz, you will be in my prayers. I know what it is like to have a rough year -actually a rough two years. Through those times,I have learned that the power of God works in an amazing ways. Keep him in prayer -he will always have your back.

Second: Letha EMBRACE THE 4-5! I turned 45 in September and at first I was tripping because the first thing that came to my mind was that I am 5 years away from 50! LOL! However each day I look at myself and think how flyyyyy I look for a 45 year old and how most of us 40-somethings look better than 20 year old girls (yes, girls -they have not graduated to being women!)

My new job is challenging. As I mentioned a few weeks back all of the drama surrounding it, I am finally in. I haven't actually worked in my office since starting because I have worked at our other company in a town not far from Lansing, Flint and Detroit called Imlay City, Michigan. The company was purchased by my current company and will be closing that location and moving it to my town in Indiana. It is kind of a bittersweet situation because 50 people are losing their jobs. However they have been really gracious towards me and understand this is about business -and not about me. I felt awkward coming in and taking over three people's jobs that has been there on the average of 15 years. So every week I am in Michigan Mon-Thurs and in Indiana Fridays through the weekend.
I have learned that my boss is a bad ass- or at least she wants people to believe that. I kind of believe the latter. She talks big talk and people are mesmerized by her. To me she is dazzling them with Bullshit more than anything. She is a Alpha female so she has the right people that she can keep in their place.This is not to say that she is not talented and driven, but to me, it is all a front.
Now,there is this girl that was hired in along with me that is trying to be another he (my boss) and she doesn't impress me one bit. She is a fucking phony and...young. So IMO, she hasn't found herself. Since we travel together, I know more than I necessarily need to know about her and her personal life to the point I simply see her has a hurt child that is still trying to prove herself and put on this hard shell to portray her as a bad ass. She is one of those chicks that all the women do not like -but the men do. In addition, she got her job through her old boss that works at my company. Really sad. She "turns it on" in front of my boss to impress her and she and my boss hit if off because they think they are so much alike. Now I don't know about anyone else, but from experience and observation, two people that are alike, will eventually not get along and lock horns.
The other chick is a passive aggressive bitch that is passive aggressive and challenges anything I say. In addition, she corrects me, as well as second guesses me on everything. I see her as a weak ass that is so nasty and lacks the skills of watching her mouth. Like the other girl, she got her job through someone she worked with.
However, I like the job -it came to me at a time that I needed it the most and is part of my plan to get me relocated to Texas in 2014. I know I have gained a lot of weight due to having an expense account and eating like I normally don't eat. My digestive system is jacked as a result. After we close the Michigan office, I will detox by juicing and using a detox kit. Right now, it doesn't make any sense to do it at this point.

On the hair front: My hair is back to straight. I did the curly thing this summer and I loved it. However It was apparent I did not do the best job of it. I thought I did.
When I finally got back into my salon, my beautician wanted to kill me. LOL! After combing out my hair, she told me my hair was starting to loc I had a lot of damage too. I was to sad because I knew I was doing a "good job" with this transition thing *sigh* I have lost about 6 inches (my hair was past bra strap length) But it is still long -really long. It will take about 6 months to recover from the damage and I am good with that. Right now, I got a Keratin Treatment in my hair and I will keep it like that. I will still be able to do the wash and go but my curls will be looser.




..Excuse my face... I have gained weight! LOL!

Believe me, I know it's easy to say it than to do it. However, when you let go and let God, good things happen.

Thank you so much, it means a lot. We made it through a suicide attempt, a murder and more. I know that what I can control is limited and that this world can throw many things at you, it can just become exhausting. My siblings count on me but they keep finding themselves in impossible situations. We have the same parents, oppprtunities etc. blows my mind really. Thanks again. From the bottom of my heart.
