I got the PM too. So random!!!

Well, got an email this morning, offered to another person. Ughhhh, but the B'ham job called and I have an interview at 10am, 9 there time. On to the next on, but I was pretty deflated over that email. I still have the Arlington Deputy Chief of Police job phone interview next week also. Just seems like things are squishing, closing in on me. School, home, life. I think I need a time out!!! For real!!!

So, my hair is braided now. Got them this morning. I like, but kind of tight or just not used to the tuffing on my scalp. It'll be alright. I will get pics tomorrow and post.

Have a good one, I'm sipping, haven't in a while on some German Spatlese and watching Greys (had to tape it I was in class. I made it in to watch Scandal!) Sooooooooooo good!!!

Morning ladies!! I will finally get to celebrate my entrance to the elite 40s club this weekend. I want to do a twist out but they never turn out quite right..we will see.

Also, my 6 year old is having a hard time with math and last night he said "I want to go to a different school because I am not smart, I am not good enough" and it broke my heart, seriously broken. I don't even know where he gets that kind of talk from but mommy cries for him. I will be looking for a math tutor though asap!

<3my curls Awwww.... What your little boy says breaks my heart! I'm a secondary educator, but at his age I'd think that the teacher would have plenty of hands on materials i.e.math manipulatives to help him. Before you pay for a math tutor, does the school offer an after school tutoring? Also, some local churches may have a tutorial ministry. He's still so young! I had difficulty with math in school, so I know his pain.But, math is one of those subjects that can be connected to real life examples.When my son was little I'd have him pay for a snack with money and figure out how much change he'd get back.Just a little example. I wish y'all the best.

Foxx...hair is still uber cute...

Me:.....finished taking out the mini twist....my hair is soo cute....but being them im stuck in the house i will not be leaving them out...going to wash, henna/indigo do a good dc under my steamer and get prepared to put them back in....Im really trying to get my hair to grow and i realize some of the mistakes i made the last year or so.....so now that i know....im really going to use the mini twist as my protective style for the winter....they take awhile to put in, but being i can get 6 weeks out of them and they still look great im okay with it....taking them out is a breeze...so im good

still stuggling with two areas at my nape, im at the point where i just think my hair in those areas is not going to ever grow again
