Hey ladies! I am about to get my hair done in cornrows this weekend, but I have a question: Would it be best to blow out my hair before getting it braided or should I leave it wet? Any help would be appreciated

Last week I got my hair braided. After washing my hair I flat twisted it and let it dry overnight. Worked better than blow drying.

I always stretch my hair overnight before getting it braided/twisted up...usually do about 16 two strand twists all over and just unravel the next morning

Really, I thought it was wet hair that was the most fragile?

When I used to get my hair braided, my braider wanted my hair clean and dry but she preferred it not be blow dried straight. She said since your hair shrinks when it gets wet, the braids will pull tighter when it dries.

My hair feels more fragile when blown-out. I would just stretch my hair with twists.
