How often is everyone deep conditioning? And how often should I use a protein deep conditioner?

That's GREAT news! If you're not already drinking lots of water then start. Hydration from the inside out also helps with moisture. Greens and other fruits and veggies are excellent! That multivitamin supports women's health, so it has benefits all the way around.

Personally, I deep condition every time I wash which is once a week. I do a heavy protein treatment once every four to six weeks, but I do a light protein treatment weekly. I use aphogee 2 min reconstructor instead of a rinse out conditioner and my hair seems to love it. Also my deep conditioner has some protein in it, but mostly works well for moisture.

I think a DC once a month would be good for me. Weekly just seems like alot for my hair, especially if they're protein treatments. Or every other week maybe.

Update! So I've decided to try keeping my hair stretched. I hear it reduces breakage and knots. Every night I'm going to either braid or twist my hair and remoisturize with aloe Vera juice and twist with curl enhancing smoothie. I've only done it for two days but already my hair feels more moisturized. And I think every week ill do a DC when I wash. That has seemed to work for most of u all. Thank u ladies for the tips!
