Bajan Princess thanks for sharing with me.I think I'll play around with the ingredients.I already have the Kinky Curly Knot Today and for oils I'm using the Africa's Best Herbal Oil which contains jojoba and castor oils as well a lot of other oils.I've heard some people use the aloe vera gel instead of the juice.I may try that and see how it works.

Ladies here's another natural product website for a variety of butters & oils, etc www.madinaonline.com. They sell shea butter, cocoa butter, aloe butter, mango butter etc. You can find their butters when you click on African products on the left tab. They're resonably priced too.In fact, I'm sitting here with a big tub of shea butter rubbing it on my elbows and knees now.LOL..

I installed my own two strand twists using my own hair and it looks like kinky twists.LOL..I hope I can get this style to last for a couple weeks because it took so long putting them in.Has anyone ever worn twists and washed your hair? My hair is so soft I'm afraid their gonna untwists.I did A LOT of layers and it will take forever for me to take them out but I wanted to try something different. My hair looks fuller.I've heard of people using witch hazel to "cleanse" between actual washing.

I'm so happy I stumbled upon this thread as I have suffered from what started out as seborrhic dermatitis as a child and ultimately progressed into psoriasis as a teen.

I must say most all topical treatments have not worked for me be it shampoos, oils, or topical gels. A few years ago my dermatologist he me try DermaSmoothe which has worked great and to date is really the only thing that has worked.

I'm not sure if anyone on this thread has used it as I haven't had a chance to read each post. But if not its definitely something to look into to.

I look forward to reading more in this thread as I'm very interested in seeing what you ladies use that has helped you.

Im back to the prescription but the PA told me to only apply the cream to the affected areas not the entire head. I follow up with a moisturizing shampoo and good conditioner and leave in. It's looking better.
Atleast the prescriptions are both generic now so it'll be affordable
