Oh hell no. If I were you I would go back up there and demand that they give you a new kit and make sure you check it before you leave. Feel free to let them know that you will not be returning and leave a google review of your experience. I had a negative salon experience about a week and a half ago when I went to get braids and I'm in the middle of leaving a review right now so others won't make the same mistake.

Wow...that really sucks!! Click on reply and select more then follow the prompts to upload your pics. I hate to say this but it only confirms why I don't like going to any type of salon.I used to go to a natural salon but the owner up and decides to hand me over to a newbie.My twists started coming undone the next day and I was out of town.

O_o no ma'am, DAMN salon is right. Did you pay w/cc? I would politely make a dispute against the service and say they charged you more than agreed. It's worth a shot. Like the other ladies say I would definitely post a review. If you do it on their FB they can remove it. I would do it on your own wall and tag them. That is piss poor service for sure and them ignoring your texts is terrible.

Like Mo said, if you put it on your credit card, you can dispute the charge due to the verbal contract. Your bank is legally obligated to protect you.

The Damn Salon opened a shop about 8 minutes from me and I would not pay those prices, especially after reading this! It's terrible that new customers get treated poorly. I would post your story on FB and tag them, HAT (Hairs a Thought), and every other natural hair page you can think of. Folks will appreciate the warning.
