Default Mrs Personalitee: My new hair color

Here is the color of my hair. I took these with my laptop so no flash.
In person, the color is more reddish/orange [but in a good way]. I'll try to post some i took with flash since the color shows up better

No!! Actually it's not light enough!!! My aunt told me to wait at least a month before i try to lighten it some more. The right side is still much darker than the left which is the brighter color you can see in the pics. The difference isn't too noticeable in person when I wear my hair out, but I *know* the sides don't match.

I'm going to try again with the same color and maybe blow dry my hair straight-ish before hand and use a bowl with a application brush and see how that works.

Also, when you did yours, did you use a processing cap or heat and how long did you leave the dye on? I left mine in for about 30 minutes.

Your hair may be like mine - it resists chemicals. You may need to use a lighter dye. To get an auburn color on my dark hair, I had to use a champagne blonde dye. My mother was so freaked out because she just knew I was losing it. I left mine in for almost an hour and had medium auburn w/copper hi lights.

Just a suggestion.

When I color my hair I have to apply heat, because I have low porosity hair. I have to lift the pores on the shaft of my hair, when I apply anything to my hair that I want to get inside the shaft or else I'll have to leave the color on for at least an 1 1/2 -2 1/2 hours even 3 hours before it will take completely. HTH :0)

okay, thanx. I've seen ppl on youtube use heat to process it, but since it wasn't mentioned on the box I didn't want to risk trying it.
