I colored my hair and LOVE it!! Now I need suggestions for shampoo and conditioner (especially conditioners since I cowash frequently). How often should I cowash? Any advice is welcome!!

I have the leave in conditioner from Nubian Heritage's EVOO & Moringa line, and it's supposed to be good for color treated hair (it has henna in it, which is supposed to enhance your color. Don't know how true that is...). My hair isn't color treated, but my strands are very fine, and I can definitely see a difference in my hair. I think there's a shampoo, leave in (which I bought), conditioner, mist, styling gel, etc, etc. in the line. I found it at Target.

I don't have any advice on how often to co-wash since I'm not color treated, but maybe some of the other curlies will have suggestions there

I see u said that you co wash frequently just a tip red hair fades VERY VERY fast so don't go crazy with the washing and co washing. You'll end up with a new color after maybe two or three washes. But I like ion for color treated hair

I have cut back to cowashing every 3 days but I still wet it everyday since I am still a TWA. It is a bright auburn with an orange touch (sounds crazy). But I adore it. I think I'm addicted!! Will post pics.

I colored my hair a month ago, I used John Frieda's red intense conditioner. I still use my shampoo that used before I colored my hair. I tried aphogee protein treatment 2 step. Recently bought Roux porosity shampoo and conditioner correction. Make my own DIY mix. I thought bout buying redken shampoo and condition but a lil expensive.

I went to another site and saw other reds say that using acv rinse helps lessen fading also rinsing in cold water. They also recommended using a semi permanent red to refresh color if you notice any dullness. Just a tid bit of info to pass on!!
