No I would not do that there is a powdered form of color that I used in the past that worked pretty well. I can't remember the name of the top of my head. I will find out and let you know, the only reason I choose Clairol was that I wanted an intense color. The powdered color comes up much better than the liquid stuff in the tube.

Sounds like a good idea. I use henna, but not for the coloring aspects but the conditioning ones. I haven't noted a change in my color except in certain light. I just don't feel like the damage is worth it. I hope you have a wonderful ball and congrats on your graduation!

I might choose to do color in a few years, when my curls are longer and the dye would be easier to notice. But I don't know what I'll do with mi pelo in 5 months...I'm just trying to make it through January!

Thanks again for all the help

Thanks; I'm excited & nervous about what's coming next after this stage in my life. I applied to 8 schools, and I have absolutely NO idea where I'm going to end up in August *gulps* I'm crossing my fingers for U of Pittsburgh, but financially, it ain't happening. I'll most likely end up at Drexel or Mount St. Mary's.

Honey applications gently lighten your hair as does lemon juice (can be drying so be sure to DC). It takes several applications over time but does work. Honey has a naturally occurring peroxide molecule in it which is why it lightens. What I do is add it to my DC every week when I hair spa or I'd probably do it nightly with bagging if I wanted to rush it. The lemon requires sitting in the sun for 30-90 min with it in your hair. Also takes a few apps but works
