I think your hair is really cute and will only look better as it gets older!

I couldnt get a good fit under the dryer so at one point when the top was dry they took those out so that I get more of my head in and then the bottom was able to dry. All in all I think it looks okay. I like BIG hair and it's not big. But I do think it's cute and it's a different look. It really looks a lot like finger coils. I'm going to see if I can stretch it out some how to make it a little bigger. If I did this again I would do it myself rather than go to the salon because the detangling was to much and the time was to long. At least at home I can multi task while I dry. I was almost ready to fight over the detangling, man I always have this problem, lol. I'm going to rock it till I can't anymore. I am going to continue to experiment with roller sets though because they are low manipulation. So next time I'm going to try bigger rollers. First pic is the process and right after it was done. Second pic is a better look day 1. third pic is day 2 after I worked out. I work out frequently and I sweat alot so we'll see how it holds up as time passes. It shrunk a little after todays workout. I'll post pics tomorrow and show what happened when I attempted to stretch my hair out.
I'd rather dry at home also. Your hair is nice!

Dang girl you have a lot of hair to put rods in. I like it though and as everyone said it will get better over the days. I thought you were getting rollers in your hair?

Thanks, I went with flexi rods at the last minute cause I knew they were something I'd probably never try on my own.

So...Hot Yoga killed my set. I knew I was chancing it as hot yoga is a killer of all hair styles, but I refuse to not do things cause it might mess up my hair. I love it though and I always leave that place drenched as if someone threw me in a pool. I don't get to go as often now because of school but I had a chance last night and took it. I sweated my hair OUT!!!! Charge that to the game. Idk what I'm going to do next. I'm rocking a puff for now. Other than the water challenge anyone got any personal challenges going on for November. I was thinking of challenging myself not to use a comb. I typically only use a comb on wash day but I want to eliminate it totally and just finger detangle. Due to the extreame coily nature of my hair it's impossible to comb it without some breakage or rather if there is a way I haven't figured it out yet. So I'd like to see if I can go from now till December without using one and see what effect it has on my hair. You guys thinking of trying or doing anything different?

Girl I know how you feel about sweating. I deep conditioned yesterday and I twisted and Bantu knotted them. I didn't take them out yet tho. I put a black cap on and ran in a hat which did nothing but sweat smh. Another challenge I had in mind for Dec was massaging the scalp once a day along with drinking 50-100oz of water a day.

As far as the comb, it sounds like a good idea. I really only us a comb when I wash (dc, co-wash) my hair. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go without a comb during my co-washes 😁😁

You can go without a comb!! Here's how. Get the cheap conditioner like suave naturals or tressemme ( I butchered the spelling)naturals. Lather it on your hair in sections before you shower so it starts to soften your hair. When you get in the shower add a lot more conditioner(there's no such thing as too much) finger comb while adding more conditioner then rinse your hair. If you want to do a wash and go then add your products in the shower using the same technique on soaking hair. When I do it I just let the water wash out the conditioner on its own. I only touch my hair to lift it up to get the back and to massage it out of the front. Leaving some conditioner in is ok.
