Default Summer 2012 Challenges??!

Soooo is there any hair challenges for the summer tht im not seeing?? I mean i already joined about 1110 challenges but whats up for summer??.!

I was looking for the same thing. I seen a thread about what styles and products for the summer. But it wasn't a challenge. Then there's a Summer Challenge from LAST year. Maybe we can do that one. Remix it a little?

Ok how bout like the 2011 one :
*Protective styles for at least 5 days of the week
*Wash n scalp maintenance as you would normally (co wash, pre poo, no poo, whatever ur preference is.
**no buy unless u run out of a product thts a staple
*dust n trim as needed but not every month??
*scalp massages
*vitamins n supplements (supps optional:hairfinity, etc)
*PICTURES
*EXERCISE!!! At least 3 times a week for at least 20 min ( i mean some ppl should be able to fit jump roping or at least jumping jacks in their schedule)
*Water intake- half ur body weight in ounces a day
******anything else?????*****
Start day June 1st-Oct 1st???
****also i wanna add--- no heat for summer...

U lost me at excercise and water intake...as far PS's go do updos, buns, puffs count or tuck ur hair PS's which would be twists & buns

Exericse at least 3 days a week to get ur blood pumpin n flowing like cardio.
The water intake --- just half ur body weight. Ex: if ur 160 lbs drink at least 80 oz of water a day. 80 oz is just 4, 20 fl oz water bottle like this gatorade bottle.
Also i like hair protected... ends tucked... but if low manipulation (puffs) is a preference then make sure to keep moisture in ur hair n retain length

Sighs* I'll try the water I typically dont drink unless I eat so if I skip meals I dont drink...hoping the heat still allow me to increase my water intake... No promises on excercise I hate it dont do it. I just came off a 6 mos PS challenge where I did twists and wigs 24/7...so this is a lil lax plus I have a couple of days to enjoy my hair...but I do need a challenge to help me minimize manipulating my hair. So I'm in!

Ok! Yes! This sounds good! When does it start and when does it end? I think we should post before and after pics. We can stay updated during the summer with styles just in case some of us (ME ) runs out of ideas =)

BTW? Are gels our best friends during the summer?

I agree with the pix! Its good to see progress n results as well as ideas! I personally dnt use gel but ive read ppl mixing olive oil in it to keep from dryin n being hard!
