Come on and join us! Your hair is going to grow whether you trim your hair or not, and growth rate is individual. Curly hair gets split ends and knots that have to be trimmed just as straight hair. Hope that helps.

I trimmed an inch or so off... They were over manipulated & heat damaged ends anyway...then I did a s&d for ssks and split ends... All in the last two weeks. Got a lil paranoid of incurring more damage by not cutting at all. Also wanna buy a better set of shears. More paranoia of causing splits ends by cutting with dull shears.

I'm still going strong. I did have a clump of knots a few weeks ago after a twist out. I pulled it out.

I'm going to start this challenge after I delivery my baby because I need a trim now, I have a few splits. Unfortunately, I'm in the hospital on bed rest till God knows how long so i'm not able to get my last trim right now.

I just want to compare the growth from when I did trim and when I don't. I usually only trimmed once or twice a month sometimes every few months anyway.

Curlies, I haven't had my hair cur since February. The growth is amazing! Yhe ywist outs are still ish, but the wngs are beautiful.
