Aww yeah and I didn't hear you dis the twists either! You know I have this image of my hair always being one length and never getting past that length...so i can't gauge length I only see hair that needs to go! I just like not saying oh my hair isnt growing bc I keep cutting it. In couple of months I'll be able to see what I could've retained had I not lalways been trim happy.

Congrats @HonnyBrown! I'm so glad you're still inspired! Keep up the good work! I haven't cut my hair either...but I'll rip out SSKs in a heartbeat (bad, I know). Thanks for your serum advice; I found one that I really like - the FX Silk Drops!

Since my hair is doing her own thing (not growing, but not really shedding), I'm just going to continue to do the best I can.

Have a great September!

I'm hanging in there too. I can see some growth so I'm happy about that. I'm going to try to make it until December before I trim--and that will be done at home. My daughter's in tech at school so she has some good shears. I'll let her do it. I never wear my hair straight so if it's a little uneven it doesn't matter.

I tried to do a wash and go but I don't think I'm going to like it.

Missing my brush cut😔
I've been sooo tempted to cut my hair today, so I loaded it with conditioner and olive oil and been bagging all day.

I know I haven't checked in in a while but I did dust my ends a few weeks ago. SSKs are the devil! I have been basically leaving my hair in twists and moisturizing between weekly washes with water, kckt and a little oil as needed.

Hey ladies. Okay I had a relapse. I had to trim my hair. I had a lot of dead ends that I was holding on too but it was getting to the point where it was getting hard to detangle. So I trimmed an inch off. So now I'm going to stick through until february. I really have to show my end some tlc. I think the teeth on my blow dryer caused the rough ends because I use to blow dry my hair all the time. Plus when I flat ironed my hair my ends looked so bad!

The last two inches of my hair are ratchet and really need to go esp in the front. I'm super tempted. But no relapses. I will not trim till the end of my three months. Oct 7 I will dust and try to go 6 mos with no cut...it's right around the corner, it's right around the corner, it's right around the corner, it's right around the corner.....
