In January I'm starting a 1 year sew in challenge. You can do sew in's, quick weaves, or braids. Or anything that protect's your hair.

Just do any protective style you like my step daughter is doing quick weave, and my granddaughter is doing cornrows. I have a friend doing mini twists.

I'm going to participate with this challenge . Sort of I've started wearing braids sept 15 2011 took those down a week ago and now have more braids in. Most likely I'll keep these in until sometime in feb well try for 3 months with this set... After that I'll repeat process over. By the time sept rolls back around I'll see what protecting has helped me grow and retain

Im debating hmm...wondering if i can go without seeing my hair ?:{

That's great just remember to deep condition between each set and moisturizing with your choice of oil. I'm using wild growth hair oil and my own oil mix. WGHO in the morning mine at night. as long as I keep my hands out of my hair it will do great.

I think I am going to jump in this challenge, but will start and stop after you guys.. I already have a appt next week for my "1st" sew in and will continue for an entire year... Good luck everyone who is in.....
