Hi! I'm sorry for the late response. I'm just now learning how to work everything. lol

But I BC on 9/28/12. I tried to transition between May to Sept. That was a disaster lol I guess the thing is that when your hair is severely heat damaged your ends are very limp and lifeless and the cute hair styles that you see on other naturals don't translate that well to your damaged hair. I had to cut off about 75% of my hair so I was able to skip to the bit longer TWA stage.

If you just want to transition then to get braids or twists for a while. Make sure that they are not too tight (no Africans...made that mistake. Horrible experience. WAY too tight) and keep those in until you're ready to have the time to take care of your hair when you wear it out. Don't try to jump into it thinking that all you have to do is use natural products and your hair is going to blossom into Tracee Ross hair. That's not the case at all! lol You'll need to cut your limp hair off to really see the curlies.

Im actually not yet my natural walk because my hair is extremely heat damaged and im involved in a lot of stuff right now (high school stuff and community) so im scared to were that out, it would be really bad. How far along in your natural walk are you?
