Hi and Welcome!

Back in 2006, while reading Cathy Howse's book, I began my relaxed hair journey. Although I had been relaxed since age 4 and I began taking care of my hair my middles school - college,"caring" for my relaxed hair was never a priority until after I read Cathy's book. I picked up an abundance of information to apply to my regimen(s).

However, I did reach a plateau in my journey after the first 2 years, which caused me to continuously cut my hair or rather, maintain a medium length bob. I was desperate to achieve my goal of bra strap length hair. With many set backs due to the chemicals and having to cut inches off of my hair each year, I now believe the decision I've made to go natural will allow me to maintain more length and have thicker hair.

Going natural is what brings me here to CurlyNikki and I'm excited that my hair is doing so much BETTER!
